2022 Calendars - All Ready For You!

Thrilled to let you know the 2022 LOVE OUR DOGS Charity calendars are all ready for you to order and purchase now!! As mentioned before, this year's theme is based on Staycation with your Doggies in Hong Kong. What's best to do with your four-legged friends in Hong Kong? Nothing beats bringing them to have a good walk and explore the beauty of Hong Kong together! Grateful to have local artist Alan Cheung (@fatlundraw) to volunteer painting all the beautiful sketches of Hong Kong hiking scenery for this project! Do challenge yourself and see if you can recognise all 12 scenery spots that I have selected and included in this calendar! And if you have not yet visit some of them, bring your dogs and visit now!

Thanks again to my dear friends who sponsored 12 doggies-featured months in the calendars, without this to start with, I will have no lovely doggies for me to photoshoot and start the project. Seeing how most of you were helpless with giving commands to your doggies at photo-shoot brought me a good laugh! But there are quite a number of doggies listening to their mommy/daddy diligently. I am also impressed by my friends adopting doggies who had a history of suffering. The little pug featured in Dec is only a puppy while I did my photo shoot was blind from birth. The Akita featured in Sep was also having a hard time delivering litter non-stop. Really happy to see my kind hearted friends giving them a warm and happy home.

Thanks to Simon of Acumen Paper for sponsoring me paper for the calendars for a few years already! it drastically cut down the cost of this project and made some balance for donations. Same as all these years, only printing costs are deducted from the sales proceeds and ALL are donated.

Thanks to Pam and Ringo of IDOL Printing. Pam helped me lots with completing my design job, especially on the cover! Appreciated!! I understand you guys have already provided me with the most economical printing and delivery costs and making me able to get more net proceeds for donation.

2022 Calendars about to launch and release!

Delighted to update you all that the 2022 calendars will be ready for your order and purchase now! Printed matters target to be delivered to me around end Sep/ early Oct! Here's a preview of the cover!

For the 2022 calendar, the theme I chose was exploring the beauty of Hong Kong with your furry friends. I am very lucky to be able to recruit local artist Mr. Alan Cheung to do all the sketches of the hiking scenic spots all around Hong Kong. How many spots could you recognise from the cover below? And how many of such scenic spots have you ever hiked to or brought your four legged companion along? If not, it's time you plan your trip now as it's already fall and I am sure you will find this rewarding!

In the meantime, wishing you all a Happy Mid Autumn Festival. Cherish the gathering time with your doggies, family, friends and loved ones. Or simply enjoy  gazing the Moon and appreciating nature's beauty and wonder.

2021 Calendar Wrap-Up

 

It is the usual time of the year that I started to plan and work on next year calendar project (ie the 2022 calendar!) and it is now that I realised I missed posting the details of sales and donations for the 2021 calendar. Signs of aging perhaps....here are the supporting evidence :) 

* receipt from printer re printing job for 2500 copies of calendar at total HK$51,250.

* acknowledgement letter from HKDR re donations received in the amount of HK$100,000.

* acknowledgement letter from SAA re donations received in the amount of HK$100,000.

*acknowledgement letter from SPCA re donations received in the amount of HK$50,000.

*acknowledgement letter from Hong Kong Homeless Dog Shelter in the amount of HK$50,000 (to-be-received from them)
